Rob Coyle - A Deep History of Usability
When did Usability first manifest in the species? Surely in the enlightened 20th century! Not so... its roots are deep. In an enlightening 30 minutes talk Rob Coyle will take you time travelling through Usability's humble beginnings.
Dave Power - On start-ups
Co-founder of Hiri, and one of the current occupants of Wayra, Dave Power will be giving a talk on his experience with creating a start-up, idea testing and generation, how to follow the "lean startup" model and where aspiring entrepreneurs should seek help.
Following the speakers, we will be hosting a networking session. This is the perfect opportunity for you to meet other people in the industry, to bounce your ideas off someone, or to share an interesting snippet of code you have been working on. Tea, coffee, beers and some finger food will also be served!
